The Last Words Of 15 Legendary People

Death comes to all inevitably, and with it comes the final moments of life, including a person’s last words.  Some people may have prepared their words in advance, but most, one must imagine, are just simply reactionary.  What a person chooses to say in their final moments can can be touching, funny, sad, or strange, but in any case it serves as a final message to the world before they sign off.

1) Pancho Villa, Prominent Mexican Revolutionary general, assassinated

2) George Harrison, member of the Beatles, lung cancer

Green was checking his own pulse as he lay dying. His last word: “Stopped.”

Nostradamus,stated, “Tomorrow, at sunrise, I shall no longer be here.” He was right.


6) Sir Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, severe stroke


“I’m bored with it all.”


7) Joan Crawford, Actress, heart attack


Crawford yelled at her housekeeper, who was praying as Crawford died. Crawford said, “Damn it! Don’t you dare ask God to help me!”


8) “Pistol” Pete Maravich, basketball great, heart failure


“I feel great.”


9) Buddy Rich, Drummer,  heart failure during surgery


As he was being prepped for surgery, a nurse asked him, “Is there anything you can’t take?” Rich replied, “Yeah, country music.”


10) Frank Sinatra, singer, actor, director, producer, heart attack


“I’m losing it.”


11) Michael Landon, actor, pancreatic cancer


His family was gathered around his bed, and his son said it was time to move on. Landon said, “You’re right. It’s time. I love you all.”

Antoinette stepped on her executioner’s foot on her way to the guillotine. Her last words: “Pardonnez-moi, monsieur.”

15) Bing Crosby, singer and actor, heart attack


After finishing a round he said to his partners, “That was a great game of golf, fellas.”  He then collapsed on the way to the clubhouse.
